quickest way to lose readership...

...never post.

so once again it has been months since i last posted.

let me write a quick list for myself
things to update

  • design.bymarkcollins.com
  • video
  • my paycheck job
  • current life.
ok design.bymarkcollins.com album design.
things here are going good, slow at the moment, but that's fine since...well i'll go into current life later. two albums i design for sarah arrived and i finally got to see printed versions of my designs, and those books looked amazing, sarah ordered them from queensberry, and yeah huge, heavy, massive, amazing books. let me see if i took a picture while i was there
i have another design for sarah in progress i'll try to remember to post a showit show of it when it's done.
in other kind of related news, i ordered a brand new desk chair that should be in soon, it has no less than four levers for ergonomic adjustment, and when i sat in it in the showroom it fit my back perfectly, so any day now.
also on the way is a second 500gig external drive to back up my first one. (tip: never store important data, like photos and album designs, in only one spot)
if you're curious, the enclosures are this one and the drives inside are these number1 number2

now video,
the site video.bymarkcollins.com still needs to be completed, but i am working on getting the current projects completed.

if you're bored and want to waste 9min check this out

oh, not on the list but in the area of my art, i'm currently working on framing all my paintings, making the frames myself cause it's more fun that way. once i'm done with that they'll be ready to hang in whatever gallery or home God wants them to go in.
here's one that i framed.

my paycheck job (the only one i get official paychecks from)
things here are going very well, currently in the works is a brand new website, a major improvement over the current one. also since i'm the head of video i've dreamed up a cool three camera shoot setup, two on tripods, one on a steady cam type of thing, believing God for the $11,400 to come in for it. these two wish lists contain all the stuff to get us there, one & two just change the quantity of cameras to 2.

current life
well my parents are celebrating their 25th anniversary with a three day getaway to a hotel on lake michigan, they left on sunday.
rebecca is flying out tomorrow, to dallas texas to hook up with the group and then they're off on a mission trip to mexico.
so i get to take her to the airport tomorrow.

canon had to go out and come out with the markIII, my photo wishlist has been updated.

in my life,
in the past i've been very good at starting projects, and not so good at finishing them.
so i've been focusing recently on completing projects. started with a list of 11 projects, now it's at 9 with 3 of those nearing completion, oh and add one more with the addition of the new church website project.
so i'm not avoiding anyone by not posting much, i'm just busy.

ok i think that's it, any questions? just leave them in a comment.
